Diverticulitis/ Diverticular Disease

Hi I am 30 years old and in June 2007 I was diagnosed with diverticulitis I had no symptons or signs that anything was wrong. It all happended so suddenly where one evening I was rolling in pain.
To cut a long story short, I was admited to hospital were they discovered a huge mass in my uterus(8.9cm) they thought it was a cyst. Went in for surgery only to find out that there was a large tumor on my colon. I had a colostomy for 3 months.
